A new European privacy law came into force in the UK on 25 May 2011 which aims to give website users more control over the information the website collects about them.
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, and provide information to the site owners. They aren’t used to identify you personally and you can delete any cookies that your browser has stored or even turn them off entirely. Consult your browser documentation for more information.
