Octink iPad competition
Managing Director Mike Freely asked Soda to help build a database of their clients’ details, so they could communicate with them on a regular basis through HTML newsletters.
Octink’s pursuit of green production processes, their involvement in the community and their continued efforts to pioneer new techniques and innovations in the display arena, guarantees that there is always something interesting to talk to their clients about. We needed to create a mechanism to publicise news, such as David Cameron visiting Octink’s Brentford premises.
We devised a "Win an iPad 2" competition that we promoted via Octink’s website, personal emails to clients and social media such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. We used MailChimp to collect the competition data and power the HMTL email newsletters.
The competition has generated high quality names and addresses for the database. This has helped Octink plan a schedule of newsletters and sales promotions and ensured regular contact with the people that matter most to them: their clients.
